Decision authoring may seem daunting. For instance, if you attend a decision management conference, you’ll likely hear many business analysts share their frustration with writing business rules. In some cases, organizations won’t even get past agreeing on what a business rule is. Therefore, I’ve made it my mission to demystify decision authoring. Unfortunately, the reality is that the tool does make a difference. If your decision management platform looks like a software development environment, then the developers will onboard quickly while the business analysts will likely struggle.
